Partner, Sixpoint Partners
Mr. Farina heads Sixpoint’s San Francisco office and has overall responsibility for West Coast and Texas distribution. Prior to joining Sixpoint, Mr. Farina was a Vice President in the M&A advisory group at Evercore Partners. Prior to a career in finance, Mr. Farina was a Captain in the United States Air Force where he was a computer security specialist for the Defense Intelligence Agency within the U.S. Intelligence Community. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is a General Securities Representative (Series 7, Series 63) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24), registered with FINRA.
Partner, Perella Weinberg Partners
David has been a private equity investor for over 23 years. Before co-founding PWP Growth Equity, he was a Partner at Weston Presidio. Previously, he was a Partner at JP Morgan Partners, and worked at Bankers Trust and Prudential Securities. David earned his B.A. from Loyola University Maryland and an M.B.A. from Wharton.
Managing Director, Pine Brook Road Partners
Mr. Krenteras joined Pine Brook in August 2006 and is a managing director on the financial services investment team. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Krenteras currently represents Pine Brook as a director of Belmont Green Limited, Better Mortgage, Clear Blue Financial Holdings LLC and Syndicate Holding Corp.
Mr. Krenteras has 20 years of private equity investment and operating experience. Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Krenteras spent nine years in the financial services industry working for LabMorgan, JP Morgan’s financial technology venture capital arm, as vice president of portfolio development. Earlier in his career, he worked for Bank of America as an interest rate derivatives trader and as the vice president of trading and business development for Pedestal Capital, a start-up institutional brokerage for mortgage-backed securities.
Mr. Krenteras holds an A.B. in International Relations from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society
Partner, Level Equity
Sarah Sommer founded and is a partner at Level Equity. She has spent her career as an investor in growth-stage software, media and internet companies. Prior to Level Equity she was a member of the investment team at Insight Venture Partners. Sarah is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she was a Joseph Wharton Scholar.
Andrew joined NEA in 2014 and is a Principal focused on enterprise and consumer technology investments and has worked across NEA’s US and China investment practices. Andrew sits on the boards of CCP Games, Qadium, and IonQ. He is actively involved in NEA’s investments in Code42, Curalate, Duolingo, Pentaho (acquired), Pocket (acquired), RocketChat, Tamr, ThreatQuotient, and ZeroFOX.
Prior to NEA, Andrew was an Analyst at Blackstone in New York. In addition, Andrew co-founded digital media company Flicstart (acquired). Andrew completed his Master’s degree as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Cornell University, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors in both Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences and Science of Earth Systems in the College of Engineering. Andrew serves on the Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship at Cornell and is President Emeritus of the Cornell Venture Capital Club. He also serves on the board of the Diyalo Foundation focusing on sustainable development and education in rural Nepal, and on the board of the National Udall Scholarship Association focusing on issues related to environmental sustainability.
