Kevin Feinblum joined Advent International in 2009. His previous private equity experience includes working with companies in the industrial, chemical, paper and retail industries.
Before joining Advent, Kevin worked at Sun Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on investing in distressed and underperforming companies. At Sun Capital Partners Kevin participated in successful investments in several US and European companies in the industrial, chemical and manufacturing sectors. Prior to Sun Capital Kevin was part of the Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking Group, a private equity division of Lehman Brothers Inc. that focused on leverage buyouts of middle-market companies. Kevin began his career with Salomon Brothers Inc. as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group.
Kevin has a BA in economics, cum laude, from Yale University and a JD & MBA from Columbia University.
Managing Director, Eurazeo Capital
Eric Schaefer is Managing Director of Eurazeo Capital, based in New York. He is responsible for sourcing and executing investments and overseeing the performance of Eurazeo’s portfolio companies. Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Schaefer has specialized in the consumer goods and business services sectors and participated in the structuring or development of Eutelsat, B&B Hotels, Europcar, Elis, Asmodee and CPK. He currently serves on the boards of Europcar Groupe SA and Asmodee Group. Mr. Schaefer was named a Dow Jones’ Private Equity News 40 Under 40 Rising Stars of Private Equity in 2015 and a French American Foundation Young Leader in 2016.
Mr. Schaefer has master’s degrees in finance from Ecole Polytechnique and HEC-Paris.
Managing Director, CVC
James Christopoulos is a Managing Director and joined CVC in 2014. James is a member of the CVC North America team. He is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, James was a Principal at Investcorp, which he joined in 2005 from UBS. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Columbia University.
Partner, Apollo Global Management
Mr. Michelini is a Partner at Apollo having joined in 2006. Prior to joining Apollo, Mr. Michelini was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co. from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Michelini serves on the board of directors of Athene Holdings, Athene Asset Management, Aleris International Inc., and previously served on the boards of Metals USA and Noranda Aluminum. At Apollo, Mr. Michelini has executed deals across the world including in North America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Michelini is actively involved in various charities dedicated to helping underprivileged children in New York City. Mr. Michelini graduated from Princeton University with a BS in Mathematics and a Certificate in Finance and received his MBA from Columbia University.
Partner, Investor Relations and Marketing, Kelso & Company
John joined Kelso in 2014. He is focused on marketing, fundraising and co-investment syndication. He spent the preceding nine years as a Partner at Court Square Capital where he ran Investor Relations and Marketing. Previously, he worked at Capital Z Investments where he ran the Investor Relations and Marketing department. Prior to Capital Z, he was a senior fundraiser for J.P. Morgan’s fund placement team where he raised capital for numerous private equity funds.
John earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1994 and received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University in 1989. He is a Trustee of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Uncommon Schools NYC Charters and the JW Foundation.
