Jarrod is a second-year MBA student Columbia Business School. Before business school, Jarrod was an Associate at Webster Capital, a private equity firm that invests in consumer branded products and healthcare services businesses. While at Webster, Jarrod evaluated, negotiated, and executed transactions in a variety of healthcare segments, including primary care, substance abuse, specialty pharmacy, and pediatric dentistry.
Prior to Webster, Jarrod was a Consultant at Newton Strategy Group, a generalist boutique consulting firm that served private equity clients. While at Newton, Jarrod led dozens of diligence and strategy engagements across a wide range of industries, including personal health products, automotive / transportation, staffing, and software.
Jarrod holds a B.S. and an M.S in quantitative economics from Tufts University.
Rohit is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Rohit was based in Mumbai, India and spent four years across investing and advisory roles. From 2014 to 2016, Rohit was an Associate at Baring Private Equity Asia, amongst Asia’s largest private equity firms with AUM of over US$ 10 billion, and focused on managing portfolio companies and sourcing / executing new investments across sectors. Prior to Baring, Rohit was an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays, in the Corporate Finance and M&A team, working on a variety of M&A and equity / debt financing transactions for corporate and private equity clients.
Rohit received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Economics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Co-President, Private Equity Club
Lloyd is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and co-President of the Private Equity Club. After graduation, Lloyd will be joining Palladium Equity Partners in New York City as a Senior Associate.
Prior to attending Columbia, Lloyd spent five years with Perella Weinberg Partners (“PWP”), a global asset manager and investment bank, in both investing and advisory roles. From 2013 to 2016, Lloyd served as a Private Equity Associate for PWP Growth Equity, a $600 MM growth equity fund, where he worked on executing new investments and managing portfolio companies across the industrial, business services and consumer/retail sectors. From 2011 to 2013, Lloyd served as an Investment Banking Analyst for PWP, where he worked on a variety of M&A transactions for public and private corporate clients across several industries.
Lloyd earned his B.S.B.A. in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis.
Co-President, Private Equity Club
Jarrett is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and Co-President of the Private Equity Club. Prior to Columbia, Jarrett spent two years at Trive Capital, a Dallas, Texas-based private equity firm. His responsibilities included identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, performing transaction due diligence, and working with management teams to implement operational and growth strategies. While at Trive, Jarrett worked on a variety of transactions across a wide array of industries including industrials, transportation and logistics, semiconductors and defense.
Jarrett graduated from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin where he earned a BBA in Finance.
Jordan is currently a second-year student at Columbia Business School. Prior to attending Columbia, he was an Associate with the Hedge Fund Solutions team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Jordan was involved in client strategy, research, and product development and was focused on building out the group’s liquid alternative strategies. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Jordan was an Associate Consultant with Orion Consultants, a management consulting firm focused on financial institutions. Jordan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in International Relations.

Nick is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and VP of Conference Marketing. At Columbia, he also serves as a VP for the Small Business Consulting Program. Nick interned this summer at TMT-strategy consulting firm Altman Vilandrie & Company. He will be returning to AV&Co. after graduation.
Prior to Columbia, Nick was a principal at marketing consulting firm Brand Value Advisors. In that role he advised both middle market private equity firms focused on consumer verticals and their portfolio companies. Nick received his BA, cum laude, from Amherst College.

Chad is a second-year student at Columbia Business School, and is a member of the Value Investing Program and Private Equity Fellowship. With 10 years of global transaction, management, and board level experience, Chad’s expertise spans structuring and executing M&A, distressed and special situations transactions, restructurings, advisory, and capital markets transactions. Chad is a result driven investment management professional who aspires to drive growth and unlock value by bringing together world-class leadership, innovative ideas, efficient capital allocation, and enhanced governance practices to high potential companies.
Prior to attending Columbia, Chad held the role of Principal/Senior Advisor to the Chairman of a $70 billion Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund, and managed the $13 billion diversified portfolio. Chad has held board memberships of several major companies including; Compañía Española de Petróleos S.A.U. (CEPSA), a multibillion dollar Spain-based integrated energy company, Nova Chemicals, a multi-billion dollar leading producer of plastics and chemicals, XOJET, a world-class private jet solutions company, Palm Hills Developments, a leading Egyptian publicly listed real estate developer, and Hakkasan Group, an entertainment, dining, nightlife, and hospitality company with establishments across the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Will is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia, Will spent four years with the Private Equity Group at Neuberger Berman on a team managing over $40 billion in primary, secondary and direct investments. Will began his career in the Financial Analyst Program at Wells Fargo.
Will received a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University.

Sarah Spear is a second-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and currently is working part time at North Castle Partners while she completes her MBA.
Prior to attending Columbia, Sarah spent four and a half years at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). From 2014 – 2017, Sarah served as an Associate on RBC’s Private Equity Leveraged Finance team focusing on providing credit solutions to private equity firms conducting leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and platform build-outs. From 2012-2014 Sarah was an Analyst on RBC’s New York Corporate Banking Team. Sarah earned her undergraduate finance degree from the University of Western Ontario and remains actively involved in Columbia Women in Business, Canadian Women in Private Equity and the Private Equity Fellowship Program.

Rajiv Batra is a second-year student at Columbia Business School and is on the PE Conference Speakers Team as a VP for the Buyout Panel. Prior to Columbia Business School, Rajiv was an associate director at Temasek (~$200b AUM Singapore based firm), where he spent 5 years. He focused on late stage growth equity and buyout investments in the healthcare services, financial services and technology space. His primary responsibilities included industry research, financial modeling, investment committee presentations, due diligence and portfolio management.
Rajiv graduated from Indian Institute of technology, with a major in Production and Industrial engineering.

Will is VP of Conference Operations. Prior to CBS, Will was on the investment team at Long Point Capital, a generalist lower middle market private equity firm, and worked on investments in the building products, stormwater, mattress, home accent, and legal services industries. Prior to Long Point, Will was an Analyst on the Diversified Industrials team at Harris Williams & Co., a middle market investment bank providing sell-side mergers & acquisitions advisory services. Will received an M.S. in Finance and a B.S.B.A. concentrated in Finance and International Business from Villanova University.

Alan Chen is a first-year student at Columbia Business School and is on the Private Equity Conference Marketing & Communications Team as an AVP. Prior to Columbia Business School, Alan was an associate at Endeavour Capital, a middle market private equity firm with a focus on investments within the food and consumer, transportation and logistics, healthcare, and business services industries. Previously, Alan worked at Piper Jaffray & Co. as an investment banking analyst in the consumer & retail M&A team. Alan graduated from The University of Southern California-Marshall School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Business Economics.

Ramon Blanco Villar is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School focusing in Finance and Management. Prior to CBS, Ramon worked in management consulting at Monitor Deloitte in Madrid. He advised large corporations on critical strategic issues across the telecom, media, telecommunications and financial services sectors, as well as conducted commercial due diligence for private equity clients. Ramon received and integrated master’s degree (B.Sc. & M.Sc.) from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas – ICAI where he studied Industrial Engineering.

Neethling McGrath is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to CBS, Neethling worked at Acorn Private Equity, a South African PE fund focussing on Agriculture and Food processing. Previously, Neethling was a TMT consultant at KPMG Management Consulting. Neethling received a B.Eng (Telecommunication) and M.Phil from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
Ankit Chadha is a first-year student at Columbia Business School and is on the PE Conference Speakers Team as an AVP for the Buyout Panel. Prior to Columbia Business School, Ankit was an associate at Welsh Carson, a middle market private equity firm focused on the technology and healthcare industries. Previously, Ankit worked at Evercore Partners as an investment banking analyst in the Healthcare M&A team. Ankit graduated from NYU-Stern with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.
Paul Light is a first-year MBA student at CBS. Prior to CBS, Paul was a Senior Financial Analyst at Coastal Forest Resources Company, primarily working on investments in the timberland sector. Previously, he was an Associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners, focusing on private equity investments in the healthcare and consumer sectors. Before Thomas H. Lee Partners, Paul was an Analyst at Jefferies in the Restructuring & Reorganization Group, and at Credit Suisse in the Financial Sponsors Group. Paul received a B.S. in Commerce (concentrations in Finance and Accounting) from the University of Virginia.
Ryan Snyder is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to CBS, Ryan was an Investment Analyst at Prudential Financial executing middle-market private equity, debt, and mezzanine investments across sectors. Previously, Ryan was a credit trading analyst at Morgan Stanley. Ryan received a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
Sanchit Ladha is a first-year MBA Student at CBS. Prior to business school, Sanchit was an Associate in the Portfolio Support Group at Berkshire Partners, an upper-middle market Private Equity firm based out of Boston. Sanchit was the first Associate hired at the firm in this role, and worked with portfolio company executives on value creation initiatives. Before that, Sanchit was in Deloitte’s Strategy and Operations Practice for 4 years. Sanchit received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Economics from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Ehsan Abbaszadeh is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and is the AVP of events for Columbia Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (CETA) club. Prior to Columbia Business School, Ehsan worked at Siemens, as a senior analyst in corporate finance and operations teams. Ehsan received a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
Katie Princisvalle is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School.
Prior to attending Columbia, Katie spent 4.5 years at Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank. From 2014 – 2017, Katie served as an Associate on CACIB’s Project Finance Bond team providing debt capital markets solutions to large corporations, government entities, and private equity firms. From 2013-2014 Katie served as an Analyst on this same team. Katie earned her undergraduate degree in finance and communication from Cornell University. She is currently actively involved in Columbia Women in Business, Private Equity Club, and the Small Business Consulting Program.
Haley Grant is a Senior Associate in Business Development at Sentinel Capital Partners. Previously, she was an analyst at CAIS Group and at AXA Advisors. Ms. Grant is on the New York Board of Opus Connect, the Steering Committee of the NYC Women’s Association of Venture and Equity, and the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science’s Masters Alumni Board. Ms. Grant holds an MA from New York University with high distinction and a BA degree from The University of Illinois, where she graduated as a member of Pi Delta Phi.
Drew is a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School and Assistant Vice President of the Private Equity Club. Drew has been interning at Stone-Goff Partners in NYC since fall 2017 and had previously interned at Pillsman Partners in Greenwich, CT.
Prior to attending Columbia, Drew was with a global real estate asset manager, Bentall Kennedy, in investing roles for the firm’s $11B comingled equity fund, where he closed four acquisitions totaling over $300M. Prior to Bentall Kennedy, Drew served as an Investment Analyst for Northmarq Capital, where he worked on a variety of debt placements for real estate acquisitions and refinances. From 2012 to 2017, Drew founded and ran an Italian-import sunglasses company, BrodyFlow, aimed at providing market alternatives to Oakley and RayBan.
Drew earned his B.S. in Physics-Engineering from Washington and Lee University. Drew is a CFA charterholder.

Vincent Su is an AVP for Conference Operations and a first-year MBA student at Columbia Business School. Prior to Columbia Business School Vincent worked as an associate for Brookside Equity Partners, a middle market private equity fund. Vincent also has experience in mezzanine lending and investment banking at Brookside Mezzanine Partners, CIT Group, and Jefferies & Co. Vincent graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Economics and Finance.
Chris Wells is a first-year MBA student at CBS. Prior to CBS, Chris was a Senior Associate at Saw Mill Capital, a private equity firm specializing in the manufacturing, industrial services and distribution sectors. Previously, Chris was an analyst at Edgeview Partners where he focused on middle-market mergers & acquisitions across a variety of industries. Chris received a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
